Effective date: September 28, 2026
This policy explains what personal information speranzagonzalez.com collects, why, and how it is handled. This site is operated by Speranza Gonzalez, MSW, ASW, a supervised visitation provider and career coach serving the Greater Bay Area. Because supervised visitation work involves families connected to child welfare and court systems, this policy is written with extra care around sensitive information — but the rules described here apply to every visitor to this website, not only to clients.
Who we are
Our website address is: https://speranzagonzalez.com. You can reach us at info@speranzagonzalez.com with any question about this policy or your information.
Information collected through the contact form
When you submit the “Work With Me” contact form, we collect the name, phone number, email address, service you selected, and message you provide. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry, discuss the services you asked about, and, if you become a client, to schedule and coordinate services. We do not sell this information, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing to third parties.
Submitted messages are delivered to our email inbox and are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry or, if you become a client, for the length of time described under “Client and case-related records” below.
Client and case-related records
If you engage supervised visitation, safe exchange, or related services, we collect additional information needed to provide those services safely and to produce accurate documentation, which may include: names and contact information of participants, referral source or attorney information, court order or case-related details you or a referring party provide, and visit notes, observations, and summaries prepared during or after each visit.
This information is collected and shared only as needed to provide the service and is not stored on this website — it is kept in separate, secured case files and is not entered into any website form, comment, or public page. Visit documentation is shared only with parties authorized to receive it (for example, a referring social worker, attorney, or the court), and only according to the reporting arrangement agreed to at intake. We retain case-related records for as long as required by our professional and legal obligations, and then securely dispose of them.
Career & resume coaching services
If you work with us for resume, interview, or career coaching, we collect the information you choose to share with us for that purpose — for example, a resume, work history, or career goals — and use it only to provide that coaching. We do not share this information with anyone else without your permission.
Cookies and site functionality
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track visitors across other websites. A small number of cookies are set automatically by the software the site runs on (WordPress and its plugins) purely to make the site work — for example, to load pages faster or keep a form working correctly as you fill it out. These functional cookies do not identify you personally and are not used to track your browsing.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content (for example, a linked video or map). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if you visited that other website directly, and that site may collect data about you, use cookies, or monitor your interaction with the embedded content.
Who we share information with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only: with authorized parties connected to your case (as described above), with service providers who help run this website (for example, our hosting provider), or when required by law or court order.
How we protect your information
This site is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and case-related records are kept separately from the website in secured storage, not published or stored on this site. We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights over your information
You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we are not otherwise required to keep (for example, for legal, court-related, or professional recordkeeping reasons). To make a request, email info@speranzagonzalez.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our services or this website change. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
